NASA estimates that there are approximately 70 thousand million million million (70 sextillion) stars in the universe.

If one out of 10 000 stars has planets
and out of those one in 10 000 is capable of supporting life
and out of those one in 10 000 has life
and out of those one in 10 000 has intelligent life

then we are still looking at over seven million alien civilisations.

There is no evidence yet. It is believed that there is alien life though due to the big size and consistent physical laws of the observable universe. By that we mean anything between bacteria or proper aliens

There is no evidence for (except that it is possible), but there is also no evidence against. Until either turns up, I don’t know!

As Sergey points out, it seems inevitable that other forms of life exist in the Universe, but so far little or no evidence. There have been a number of rumours surrounding the Mars probe and associated pictures, but nothing conclusive…..yet.
