I guess now I know how little I know and I contribute to science. There is a lot more out there and I am just a tiny fraction of it

I used to think science was some intangible thing that geniuses did, which I would never have any influence over. Now I know it’s just regular people like me who mostly just do it because it’s interesting, it gives me a far more confident approach to the world: I’m not intimidated by things I don’t understand, because I know all it takes to grasp most things is a bit of time and patience.
