      Lets put aside the fact that it’s not technically possible but lets do a quick calculation anyway 😀

      Average human walking speed (on land) is 3mph and the average distance we are from the moon is 238855 miles so on that basis it would take :-

      (2 X 238855) /3 hours = 159237 hours = 6635 days = 948 weeks = 218 months = 18.2 years

      However, the average American is estimated to eat about 900kg of food a year so taking that with you you’d need to take 16.4 tonnes of food and we need water and on average people drink 700 litres a year which would be about 12.7 tonnes of water. Now of course those would both deplete as you use them up but you’re starting off with about 30 tonnes of food and water for that trip.

      Think I’ll stay at home and watch Star Wars instead 😀 Great question though !
