Thanks from your winner, Sergey

I would like to thank everyone involved in I’m a Scientist, Get me out of hereΒ for this wonderful event!

Thank you to the organizers, sponsors and moderators for running the event and I hope you will continue to do so!

Thank you students for your brilliant questions! Although I have been your age at some point too, it was a pleasure to be reminded what is important at this age.

Thank you to all who have voted for me!

Thank you to the teachers who have brought their students to this event and at least tried to keep them in line. πŸ™‚

This has been a great experience for me and I would totally do it again!

It made me remember that the most complicated things can be explained in a simple and fun way.

My advice to the students is: keep being curious! There are no stupid questions, only stupid answers! And don’t try to grow up too soon. I wish myself back to your age, things were simpler and easier πŸ™‚ Enjoy it as long as it lasts!

To my fellow scientists: Thank you for participating. This event wouldn’t have been even half as fun without you! A friendly debate is always fun.

To any future scientists: If you can put a smile on the faces of your audience β€” then this will earn you extra sympathy. Better to keep details to a minimum, but make fun of yourself or the subject instead. No one knows whether a zombie virus is possible, or whether there is life elsewhere in the universe, this still shouldn’t stop you from speculating and being fun about it!

One last answer to the question that I was asked a few times “How do you program people?”:Β I have successfully programmed you to vote for me! Thank you for your attention πŸ™‚

All my best wishes,

// Sergey
